This module will guide you through what you need to consider in order to identify the type of data produced by your experiment.  This is absolutely critical since this will inform both the descriptive statistics you will need to quote in any written publication (laboratory report, submission of a manuscript to a scientific journal, etc.) and the inferential statistical tests you use to analyse your data and arrive at appropriate conclusions.  This module contains a short video presentation together with example data, links to additional information (e.g. full lecture course,  appropriate chapters in the textbook accompanying this programme of tuition) and  links to the next stage(s) of the decision pathway.
